Reporting directly to the Facilities Services Supervisor, the Custodian role requires hands-on cleaning of diverse spaces, including windows, carpets, and furniture. Your ability to handle custodial equipment and organize tasks will contribute significantly to the college's mission of providing a safe environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deep clean and disinfect restrooms and high-touch areas
• Perform floor care activities including buffing and stripping
• Transport and restock cleaning supplies
• Assist with emergency procedures and facility maintenance
• Communicate with the public and report on building issues
Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or equivalent required
• At least 6 months custodial experience necessary
• Familiarity with cleaning protocols and chemicals
• Physical ability to perform required tasks
• Collaborative skills in a team setting
