Reporting to the general counsel, the successful candidate will navigate complex regulatory matters regarding electricity and gas utilities. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal opinions, and advising on Commission-related matters. This position entails active participation in hearings and collaboration with a diverse team to develop regulatory guidelines and bulletins.

Key Responsibilities: • Research and analyze regulatory legal issues • Draft legal opinions and correspondence • Provide counsel during oral hearings • Prepare Commission rules and bulletins • Represent AUC in community interactions

Requirements: • LL.B. with four or more years of experience • Good standing with Law Society of Alberta • Proven litigation experience preferred • Robust analytical and writing skills • Team-oriented with effective communication
