In-home caregiver – private home – AmSh… family

NOC Job Code/Title: 44101 - Family Caregiver

Terms of employment: This is a full time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start date is November 1, 2026.

Language required: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $21 per hour.

Location: AmSh… live in the city of Hampstead, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus #161). The major intersection is Fleet + Minden.

Duties may include:

- Help with the care of two children ages 6 years old and 8 years old.
- Supervision of children when parents are not at home.
- Bathe, dress and feed children.
- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts,



reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents.
- Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children; kitchen clean-up is also required.
- General housework that will include doing laundry.
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications:

- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training.
- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
