Duties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles tailored to each child's needs
- Collect, analyze, and document data on behavior patterns to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage desired behaviors and skill development
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in therapy approaches
- Administer medication or medical treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols
- Support children with daily activities, including social skills training, communication exercises, and routine care
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with all regulatory standards
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral intervention techniques
- Ability to administer medication safely when required, following proper procedures
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology relevant to pediatric therapy
- Excellent data collection skills to accurately track behavioral progress over time
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills for engaging children and collaborating with families
- Certification or training in ABA therapy is a plus; willingness to pursue relevant certifications is encouraged
