Selectwood Cabinets Ltd., located in Richmond, BC now hiring full time and permanent Carpenter. The person should have higher secondary education along with a relevant minimum of 2-3 years of work experience.

The person should be able to perform the following job duties and responsibilities for this:

Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs

Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

Prepare tenders and quotations

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites





Supervise other workers

Estimate costs and materials

Operate CADD and other computer software systems

Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

We offer a competitive Wage of $31.50 - $38.50 Per Hour.
