Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders at the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines and food handling protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food delivery
- Support food industry standards by following proper serving procedures and ensuring customer satisfaction

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash management
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive interactions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
