Join our dynamic team as a Class 5 Tow Truck Driver/Operator and become a vital part of providing prompt, professional roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to assist stranded motorists, recover vehicles from accident scenes, and ensure safe transportation of vehicles to repair facilities or other designated locations. Your expertise will help keep roads protected and traffic flowing smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service with every call.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 5 tow trucks to recover, transport, and assist vehicles in various roadside situations
- Respond quickly to emergency calls, providing productive and courteous assistance to motorists in distress
- Conduct vehicle inspections prior to and after towing to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues or prepare vehicles for transport
- Maintain accurate logs of all service calls, vehicle movements, and safety checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders to coordinate operations




- Assist with basic automotive repairs or forklift operations as needed to facilitate vehicle handling

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven commercial driving experience
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicles and towing equipment to perform inspections and minor repairs
- Customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and positively in stressful situations
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus for handling heavy or awkward loads
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting common issues during roadside assistance
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as required
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to all traffic laws and safety protocols
