The Clinical Informatics
Specialist is essential in enhancing and supporting digital health systems across Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services. You will engage with clinical practice, workflows, and data to ensure that solutions meet operational needs and improve patient outcomes.
Your responsibilities involve analyzing requirements, optimizing workflows, and collaborating closely with clinical and technical teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document clinical and operational requirements
- Evaluate and improve current workflows and processes
- Collaborate with various stakeholders for system enhancements
- Support testing and implementation activities
- Act as a liaison for understanding system capabilities Requirements:
- Baccalaureate in a health professional discipline
- Minimum five years of clinical experience
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards
- Experience in a health informatics role is an asset
