We are a skilled commercial cleaning team seeking a dependable, hardworking and detail-oriented individual to join us part-time in Grande Prairie.
Little to no professional cleaning experience is required and is actually preferred. Thorough, hands-on training is provided. We would rather train someone with the right attitude and work ethic to meet our standards than require years of previous cleaning experience.

Attitude and work ethic are extremely important to us. Cleaning can be taught, but we are looking for someone who comes to work with a positive attitude, is willing to learn, listens carefully to direction and takes pride in doing a job properly.
There are no shortcuts when it comes to our cleaning standards. Attention to detail and a willingness to go the extra mile when something needs attention are important parts of this position.
If you see something that needs cleaning, don’t walk past it simply because it isn’t on the checklist.
Duties Include
- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, including making toilets, sinks, mirrors and fixtures sparkle
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Emptying garbage and recycling
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning offices, lunchrooms and common areas
- Using cleaning products, chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Keeping cleaning equipment and supplies organized and reporting shortages or equipment concerns
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or facility concerns when noticed
- Additional general cleaning duties as required
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation to assigned job sites
- Primarily available for evening shifts, with some daytime flexibility
- Successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal record check as a condition of employment
- Willingness to complete required online training courses
- Ability to comply with company and client workplace health and safety standards and procedures
- Willingness to wear the required company uniform
- Ability to take instruction well and be receptive to feedback
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to safely perform the essential duties of the position, including standing, bending, reaching, vacuuming, mopping and moving cleaning equipment
- Professional and respectful conduct while working at client locations
Position Details
Job Type: Part-timeLocation: Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Schedule: Primarily evenings with minimal daytime work
Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
This position begins with a probationary training period. Thorough training is provided.
Wage increases are available following successful completion of training and probation, based on performance, reliability and the ability to work independently to company standards.
Required training will be compensated in accordance with applicable Alberta employment standards.
