You will ensure food safety and sanitation while cooking a variety of dishes in a dynamic remote kitchen. This full-time role operates on a 20 days on, 10 days off rotation, providing transportation from Edmonton, AB to the lodge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cook and prepare varied food items as per recipes
• Set up workstation with necessary ingredients and tools
• Measure, mix, and chop food items accurately
• Operate kitchen equipment including ovens and grills
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and utensils
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cook or similar role
• Strong knowledge of food safety and cooking methods
• Ability to obtain food safety certification
• Basic math and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
