Join The Salvation Army as an Activity and Recreation Coordinator to enrich the lives of elderly residents. You'll facilitate engaging programs under the supervision of the Activity & Volunteer Manager. This position focuses on creating and implementing recreational activities that meet the residents' diverse needs.

You will work closely with team members and maintain vital communication with both residents and their families. Record-keeping will also be part of your responsibilities, along with ensuring a secure and enriching workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and implementing resident programs
Support communication between residents, families, and staff
Document participation and assessment statistics
Follow safety guidelines to maintain a secure setting
Participate in team conferences for individual care plans

Requirements:
Diploma or degree in recreation or therapeutic studies
Experience in long-term care environments
Solid planning and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Compassionate and patient demeanor with seniors
