Driven by our desire to help students thrive in their academic and personal lives, the Saanich School District provides quality educational programs and a secure and nurturing learning environment for the over 7,000 culturally diverse students within its 18 schools. Working knowledge of using computing technology to support learning
A commitment to the Principles of Inclusive Schools and Principles of Learning

Specific To This Posting
Bachelor of Education (Elementary)
Major in French and fluency equivalent to a native speaker in both written and oral French
Board certified to teach French Immersion
Two years successful classroom experience at the elementary level including French Immersion classes
Thorough knowledge of the elementary French Immersion curriculum
Demonstrated use of highly successful instructional strategies for elementary students in an integrated environment
Solid classroom management and organizational skills
Ability to adjust curriculum and assessment strategies to meet the needs of a wide range of students
