Collaborate with the Registered Nurse on unit protocols
Provide direction to Personal Support Workers daily
Liaise with physicians regarding resident changes
Attend shift reports for effective communication
Assist with revisions of procedures in the residence
Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
In-depth knowledge of long-term care legislation
Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
Current membership in positive standing with nursing college
Ability to foster meaningful resident connections
