We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and promoting a love for learning. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine interest in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Create a secure, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
- Observe and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance
- Promote social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and conflict resolution
- Maintain organized classroom materials and ensure compliance with safety regulations




- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices

Skills

- Proficiency in English
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Current Saskatchewan Child care Level or willing to obtain soon
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with special needs or disabilities
- Excellent organizational skills for managing classroom activities and documentation
- Leadership qualities to guide children’s learning experiences and collaborate with staff

Must Haves
- Current Saskatchewan Child Care Certificate Levels 1-3
- Valid First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

Pay: $15.35-$28.31 per hour
