The B Hive Daycare is a growing company. We are openly seeking mature Early Childhood Educators to join our team on an ongoing basis.

The suitable candidates would be available Monday through Friday. No stat holidays or weekends. Three weeks vacation time in conjunction with center closures.

Base wage does not include Gov of AB wage enhancement. Wage enhancement is over and above the base wage.

Early Childhood Educator Certificate / Diploma required. Equivalent education may be considered through the Alberta Childcare Certification Program.

A transparent criminal record check with vulnerable sectors is required. First Aid is not necessary but must be obtained within 90 days from date of hire.

Professional references are required.

We require highly motivated individuals to work as team players in a fast paced environment, show initiative with planning and activities and participate in all aspects of childcare with ages 12 months to 6 years. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering all aspects of development.

This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children with diverse needs, and collaborating with families to ensure each child's success. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early learners' lives while working in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Ideal candidates will be able to:





- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Support children’s social-emotional development through guidance and positive reinforcement
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote language development, creativity, and motor skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times

Ideal candidates will:
- Speak clear and strong English
- demonstrate childcare experience with a focus on early childhood education principles
- have excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
- hold effective classroom management and organizational skills
- Experience in teaching or working with young children in an educational setting is preferred

Positions are full time permanent with no LMIA. Applicants who do not have relevant experience will not be contacted.
