The position requires excellent communication skills for direct interaction with the public and involves using various software applications to track and manage records efficiently. Understanding engineering bylaws and procedures is essential to assist community inquiries effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Process applications and permits for engineering services
- Liaise with the public in person, via phone, and email
- Utilize software to update and maintain filing systems
- Review documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Conduct user testing for current systems and updates Requirements:
- Grade 12 completion with applicable courses
- Significant experience in office roles with public interaction
- Strong understanding of engineering policies and practices
- Proficient with databases and office applications
