As a pivotal mental health provider within the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, your expertise will guide undergraduate and graduate learners through their academic and personal challenges. Solid interpersonal skills are essential as you will establish trusting therapeutic relationships while working independently to apply evidence-based approaches tailored to diverse student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one, short-term counselling and psychotherapy
• Conduct psychological assessments and treatment planning
• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning support
• Collaborate with colleagues on student care
• Lead psychoeducational programming when required
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
• Registration as a Psychologist in valuable standing
• Minimum five years of clinical experience
• Expertise in evidence-based and trauma-informed therapy
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
