Qualifications and Responsibilities:

- -Helping to foster an atmosphere and workplace of pride, respect,
and trust.
- -Assisting with the preservation of traditional knowledge and oral
tradition.
- -Assisting classroom teachers with First Nations and Metis knowledge,
language, and traditional skills.
- -Teaching traditional and cultural skills such as trapping, fishing,
beading, storytelling, and smudging.
- -Teaching cultural life skills to promote mastery, generosity,
independence, and belonging.
- -Meeting with at-risk youths.




- -Assisting with parent support groups.
