Role Description This is a part time remote role for a Financial Advisor at Greatway Financial Inc.

The Financial

Advisor will meet with clients virtually to assess their financial protection needs, provide education on insurance and financial solutions, and recommend strategies that support long-term security. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting financial needs analyses, preparing personalized recommendations, and explaining options such as life, illness and disability, mortgage, and business insurance solutions.



The role involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, following up to review plans, and supporting clients as their circumstances change.

The Financial

Advisor will also participate in training and development, stay current with industry regulations and products, and collaborate with Greatway’s network of professionals.

Qualifications

- Strong Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills, with the ability to assess client needs and develop tailored strategies.
- Solid grounding in Finance and Investments, including understanding of risk, returns, and long-term security considerations.
- Experience or interest in Financial Advisory work, providing needs-based guidance and clear explanations of financial protection options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Comfort with remote work, including proficiency with virtual meeting tools and digital documentation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client relationships in a part-time capacity.
- Completion or pursuit of appropriate licensing for life and health insurance in the relevant Canadian province (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, sales, or client advisory roles is an asset, but diverse professional backgrounds are welcome.
