Overview

We are seeking a agile and highly organized Fleet Manager to lead our transportation and vehicle operations.Fleet manager must be capable to handle 20 trucks. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of our vehicle fleet, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Your expertise will drive process improvements across logistics functions, support procurement activities related to fleet assets, and leverage data analysis to enhance operational effectiveness.

Duties

- Manage the entire lifecycle of the fleet, including procurement, maintenance, and disposal of vehicles and equipment
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to align transportation needs with warehouse operations and order fulfillment schedules
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms such as AS400 and Warehouse Management System (WMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting
- Oversee freight logistics, including shipping & receiving, 3PL partnerships, and freight cost optimization through pricing strategies and demand planning
- Implement process improvements in fleet operations to enhance efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Conduct data analysis on fleet performance metrics to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational enhancements




- Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing materials, parts, and services related to fleet maintenance and supply chain needs

Requirements

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, transportation management systems, or supply chain operations
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for vehicle maintenance tracking
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), e-commerce logistics, packaging, and materials management
- Hands-on experience with order picking, shipping & receiving processes, forklift operation certification preferred
- Excellent sourcing and procurement skills for materials related to fleet maintenance and supply chain needs
- Ability to analyze pricing strategies, demand planning data, and optimize freight costs effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
