The Specialist - Fleet, Third-Party Transport and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) plays a key role in the management and evolution of these categories at Belron Canada. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operational coordination, this person contributes to cost optimization, supplier performance, continuous improvement, and the development of strategies related to fleet, transportation, and material handling equipment.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified who wants to evolve into a broader strategic role and actively contribute to the transformation of these activities on a national scale.

Salary range : $85,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities

- Manage operational activities related to the company vehicle fleet.
- Coordinate transportation services provided by third-party partners.
- Ensure the management, availability, and proper functioning of material handling equipment (MHE).
- Monitor and control costs associated with fleet operations, transportation, and MHE, in accordance with approved frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize operations.
- Analyze operational performance, prepare operational and financial reports,



and make recommendations to support decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement initiatives aimed at cost optimization and improved service levels.
- Participate in the development of sourcing and category management strategies related to fleet, transportation, and MHE.
- Manage supplier performance and monitor cost, quality, and service indicators.
- Identify and assess opportunities for outsourcing, automation, or process improvement.
- Participate in RFPs, negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives within the categories under their responsibility.

Required Profile

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fleet management, logistics, transportation, asset-intensive operations, or a related field.
- University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- An equivalent combination of technical education, a college diploma, and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Professional certifications such as APICS, CITT CCLP, or CAFM/NAFA are considered an asset.
- Experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract management, or category management is considered a strong asset.




- Experience in a transformation or continuous improvement environment is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
- Strong interest in cost optimization, supplier performance, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems, fleet management tools, or inventory management tools is considered an asset.
