Join the community in Edmonton as a Supported Independent Living Worker, focusing on client care and empowerment. Engage in client support, meal planning, and skills training to foster independence and well-being.
In this part-time role, you will work on-site, committing 6 versatile schedule weekly to aid children and youth with their living environments. Collaborate with a dedicated team to implement developmental programs and report any significant concerns to your supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a safe and comfortable living setting for clients
• Oversee meal planning and grocery purchasing
• Support the development of life and community skills
• Maintain accurate client documentation and update files
• Provide leadership to support in the absence of the Coordinator
Requirements:
• Caring and person-centred approach to service
• Valid First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate
• Police check with vulnerable sector clearance
• Previous experience in disability services required
• Commitment to established support plans and policies
