Support residents at Rideaucrest Home as a part time Personal Support Worker, enhancing their quality of life for up to 12 months. Your role will be vital in providing essential care and encouragement.
The position of Personal Support Worker involves meeting the essential and emotional needs of residents under registered staff supervision. Responsible for facilitating daily living activities, you'll play a crucial part in restoring residents' independence while ensuring their dignity and comfort. This role is temporary, with up to 75 hours every two weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure residents’ personal hygiene is a priority
• Monitor nutritional needs and meals of residents
• Lift and transfer residents safely
• Collaborate in developing care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of care
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Personal Support Worker Program
• Minimum one-year customer service experience
• First Aid/CPR Certificate preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
