Responsibilities

- Develop tailored lesson plans that align with each student’s language goals, proficiency level, and learning style
- Deliver interactive tutoring sessions in French, incorporating speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes
- Foster a positive and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and cultural appreciation
- Support students in developing effective language learning techniques and confidence in real-world communication
- Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement




- Collaborate with parents or guardians (for younger learners) to communicate progress and address individual needs

Experience

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching French at various levels, including classroom experience or private lessons
- Fluency in French with strong writing skills to effectively communicate concepts and provide constructive feedback
- Proficiency in English for clear instruction and support; additional languages such as Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work with children and adapt teaching methods to diverse age groups and learning styles
- Experience working with students from different cultural backgrounds is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for language education
