Join the Government of Nunavut as a Full-Time Mental Health Consultant. This role is focused on providing mental health care and promoting wellness through a holistic, culturally relevant approach. The position requires robust experience in counselling or trauma therapy, with a minimum of five years in the field.

You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to address mental health needs, conduct assessments, and develop client strategies. Be prepared to advocate for client dignity and maintain their rights. Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and implement client mental health care plans
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and mental exams
- Develop strategies for client self-efficacy
- Keep client records accurate and confidential
- Work collaboratively with community resources Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social work or a related field
- Five years’ direct front-line counselling experience
- Knowledge of Inuit language and culture is ideal
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
