We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Grocery Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting with various tasks within the grocery department. Your ability to engage with customers, promote products, and maintain an organized shopping environment will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain product displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
- Provides prompt and courteous customer service. Helps staff and customer to load large items into their cart, directs customers to products, relates product status knowledge
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering




- Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the grocery department, adhering to safety standards

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management
