and the opportunity to be part of projects that help shape communities across the province.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a projectOperate various tools and equipment, including but not limited to: skid steers, power tools and hand toolsUse GPS and laser level for site specific gradingLevel aggregate to grade specificationsLoad and unload material, tools and equipment required to complete construction projectsDirect traffic at construction sitesClean work site of any tools, debris and equipment, ensuring housekeeping is consistently maintainedComply with company safety policies, procedures, and regulationsWear appropriate personal protective equipment at all timesSupport all team members as requiredComplete other duties as assignedQualifications1-3 years of construction experienceSome knowledge with reading construction drawings and or blueprintsAbility to work with hand tools, power tools and small engine equipmentAbility to travel to project sites as required; G-Class driver's license (preferred)Able to work long days, adaptable work hours and weekendsPersonal Qualities / SkillsStrong commitment to safetyReliable, self‑motivated, and hardworkingExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skillsEffective verbal and written communicationAbility to work independently and within a teamStrong time management and professionalismHigh standards for quality workmanshipProven leadership and people management skillsWorking ConditionsFast‑paced, physically demanding environmentRequires bending, lifting, kneeling, and climbingOutdoor work in varying conditions such as heat, cold, dust, and noiseEqual Opportunity EmployerFidelity Group of Companies welcomes and encourages application from people with disabilities.
