Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week). Operating hours in office are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday; Shifts will consist of an 8-hour shift during those hours. On-call support will be required on an occasional basis.

Required Qualifications:

- Must be a US citizen
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Full Scope Poly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must demonstrate proficiency with the following:
- Familiarity with building codes, ordinances and regulations of state and local authorities pertaining to HVAC
- Proficiency with ASHRAE standards to include ASHRAE 55 -Thermal Environmental Conditions for Human Occupancy, ASHRAE 62.1 - Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality, and ASHRAE 180 - Standard Practice for Inspection and Maintenance of Commercial Building HVAC Systems
- Experience with CMMS is a plus but not required

We are seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic who is highly motivated,



qualified, and experienced. Position required to maintain and repair HVAC equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.

Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Adding refrigerant to or removing refrigerant from equipment
- Installing and troubleshooting heating and cooling systems
- Cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
- Replacing component and parts (pumps, pipes, fans, etc.)
- Using power and hand tools safely to support the facilities
- Maintaining air and water treatment systems
- Inspecting refrigerant systems for leaks
- Reading blueprints & schematics, utility plans, mechanical drawings, and electrical and wiring diagrams
- Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System; and
