Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Caseworker to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage a variety of immigration cases, ensuring accurate processing and timely completion of all documentation. Your expertise will support clients navigating complex immigration procedures, providing clarity and guidance throughout their journey.

Responsibilities
- Review and verify immigration documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness through meticulous proofreading and data entry.
- Conduct thorough research using tools like LexisNexis to gather relevant legal information and case details.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently by organizing files, maintaining detailed records in iManage, and ensuring proper filing systems are followed.
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports with precision, adhering to established legal drafting standards.
- Interview clients to collect essential information, assess eligibility, and clarify case details while demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
- Coordinate with team members on project management tasks to meet deadlines and streamline case workflows.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, maintaining case files, and managing phone inquiries with professionalism.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Canadian immigration case processing or working within a Canadian immigration consulting environment.
- Working knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with IRCC forms, online portals, application procedures, and supporting documentation.
- Experience organizing and managing immigration client files.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe/PDF tools, email, cloud-based document systems, and online portals.
- Ability to maintain accurate case notes, records, and follow-up schedules.
- Strong client-service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following procedures and instructions established by the RCIC.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive client information professionally.
- Experience using immigration case-management software is considered an asset.
- Education or formal training related to Canadian immigration is considered an asset.
- Additional language skills are considered an asset.
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
