Gravelbourg Bon Ami, Inc. is looking fora caring, dependable and compassionate Group Home Team Leader to join our team. The Group Home Team Leader is a hands-on leadership position supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to staff while also working directly with participants and supporting them in their home and community. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships, supporting independence and inclusion, and helping create a positive and respectful environment for both participants and staff.
The Group Home Team Leader will:
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Group Home
- Promote participant safety, dignity, rights and choices.
- Work directly with participants and assist with daily routines, activities and community involvement
- Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and coaching to staff.
- Ensure staff follow individual support plans, CBSP's and Agency Policies
- Assist with staff scheduling and coverage
- Assist with documentation and administrative responsibilities
- Support participant appointments and activities
- Monitor household supplies, groceries and general needs
- Communicate with participants, families, coworkers and members of the support team
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Robust communication, organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide respectful leadership and direction to staff
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Clearance
- Willingness to complete required Agency Training.
