Make a meaningful impact as a Health Care Aide with AgeCare in Calgary, Alberta. This part-time role involves delivering compassionate care and support to residents, ensuring their well-being every day.
As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team under the supervision of a Staff Nurse. Your role includes assisting residents with personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance. You'll also be responsible for providing routine treatments and ensuring a comfortable environment for seniors in our care.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist residents with bathing, washing, and personal hygiene • Aid in transferring residents using secure mechanical equipment • Provide assistance during meals in accordance with dietary plans • Support movement to therapy, dining, and recreation activities • Accompany residents to social events and therapy functions
Requirements: • Minimum one year experience in a care environment • Completion of recognized HCA/PCA Certificate Course • Active registration with Alberta's CLHA • Fluency in English is essential • Post-secondary education is an asset
