PLASP operates in more than240schools providing before school, lunch, and after school programs and 38full-day early learning and child care centres and sixEarlyON locations for children from 0 – 6 years.PLASP is committed to hiring, training, and fairly compensating staff. We believe that everyone has worth and value, and that all staff are entitled to be respected, supported, and treated fairly by their co-workers and supervisors.Educational Requirements:One of the following is required: Registration with the College of ECE (RECE), OCT, or CYW Diploma or DegreeHourly Wage:$22.27plus hourly Provincial Wage Enhancement if applicable Compensation rates are increased for RECE candidatesThe successful candidate will provide a full range of duties, including:Establishing and maintaining a safe, warm and caring setting in which a high-quality extended day program can operateEnsuring that the supervision and safety of the children is maintained at all timesWorking cooperatively with all staff to help plan, develop, and implement a program of stimulating age appropriate activities for groups of children, which will promote their physical, social, emotional and intellectual well-being, in accordance with the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA), How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH?)



and the guidelines established by PLASP for all program components including P.A.
