Join Central Okanagan Public Schools as an Educational Psychologist dedicated to enhancing student success. This role centers on psychological assessment and team-oriented solutions.
We are inviting applications from enthusiastic educators with a Master’s Degree in school psychology. You will utilize your skills in test administration and psychometric theory to support over 25,000 students. The position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to working alongside teachers and families to optimize student learning experiences and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments for students in various grades
• Collaborate with educational teams to inform interventions
• Assist in crafting and revising IEPs for individual students
• Present training sessions on assessment methodologies
• Connect families with external support agencies as necessary
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree specializing in school psychology
• Capable of interpreting Level C assessments
• Demonstrated experience in educational psychology
• Strong collaborative and communication abilities
• Eligible for membership with B.C.A.S.P. or similar
