Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. seeks a Journeyperson Pipefitter for a 1-year contract at our Mill Site in Athabasca County, Alberta. Work from Monday to Thursday in this rewarding role. You will be responsible for the fabrication and maintenance of piping systems essential for our operations, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
This position requires strong expertise in steam fitting and the ability to interpret technical drawings effectively while ensuring quality in all work aspects. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute maintenance and repair tasks as a Steamfitter
- Fabricate current piping systems with precision
- Interpret Isometric drawings and mark them accurately
- Repair and maintain piping systems and manual valves
- Complete safety assessments and document hazards Requirements:
- 5 - 7+ years of steam fitting experience
- Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license required
- Participate in mechanical aptitude and drug testing
