Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist in preparing accurate project estimates by analyzing plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. The Junior Estimator will work closely with senior estimators and project teams to ensure competitive and accurate cost evaluations that contribute to successful project execution.

Duties

- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to gather necessary information for estimating
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Support the development of accurate project schedules and timelines in coordination with project management teams
- Analyze labour, material, equipment, and overhead costs to ensure comprehensive estimates




- Participate in bid meetings, review proposals, and help refine estimates based on feedback
- Maintain organized records of all estimating documents, correspondence, and revisions for transparency and future reference

Requirements

- Basic understanding of construction estimating principles and practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Construction experience or background is highly desirable to understand project scope and technical details

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
