The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Music Director Daniel Raiskin, is announcing a vacancy for the position of Principal Clarinet starting in the 2027-2028 season. National auditions will take place on November 2, 2026, and the Audition Repertoire List will be made available soon.The salary for the 2027-2028 season is set at $54,988.92 for a 36-week season. In addition to the salary, the position offers advantages including a 10% contribution to the Musicians Pension Fund of Canada, Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care, Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage, and a Dental Plan.All musicians in the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra are members of the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
