Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time‑critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.At the heart of our business is our people.Role PurposeThis position is primarily responsible for service and repairing aircraft fueling equipment so that we provide our customers and stakeholders “Best‑in‑Class” service.We are looking for a dedicated individual to ensure smooth operations on the tarmac and help us soar to current heights with a career at Menzies Aviation.What you will be doingReceive work orders and obtain necessary tools for repair.Transport the vehicle(s) to be repaired by driving, towing, or pushing vehicles into the service bay.Vehicles may consist of tugs, forklifts, pay loaders, fuel trucks and other larger airport vehicles.Inspect parts and motor vehicles to identify defective or broken parts.Repair diesel engines, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems.Obtain replacement parts, install, and/or make repairs as required.Rebuild assemblies and systems as necessary.Consult with Supervisor for complex repairs that require approval for ordering parts.Complete work orders and provide status updates on open work orders.Ensure safe and secure operations in accordance with the highest standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements.Additional duties may include changing batteries, tires, oil, and other minor repairs.Safety, Security, Wellbeing and ComplianceYou will have a responsibility to take reasonable care of the health,

As such the company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy.QualificationsQualified Mechanic with 310T certification and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.Knowledge of heavy‑duty diesel/automotive equipment.Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex hydraulic and electrical systems.Owns own tools and can operate various power and hand tools safely.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Flexible to work all hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by operational requirements.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work comfortably with bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling various items.Clean driving record with a certified copy of the driver’s abstract.Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances and airport driving permits.DiversityMenzies Aviation are a committed equal‑opportunity employer and encourage applications for suitably qualified and eligible applicants regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy, and maternity.
