Join the Developmental Disabilities Association as a Vancouver Early Childhood Pedagogical Consultant. This full time role focuses on developing and implementing effective programs for children's wide-ranging needs.
Working in office, this position involves assessing children's development and planning learning strategies. The ideal candidate will foster creative expression and developmental growth, while collaborating with various professionals. A Bachelor's degree and substantial experience with special needs children are prerequisites.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare tailored learning plans based on assessments
Implement programs supporting children's physical and cognitive development
Lead activities that promote creativity and social skills
Monitor children's progress and prepare comprehensive reports
Establish relationships with community service providers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field
3 to 5 years of experience in a relevant setting
Expertise in working with special needs children
Criminal and vulnerable sector checks needed
