Step into a pivotal role as a Manufacturing Cost Accounting Manager with a well-established manufacturer. Engage directly with operations to enhance costing accuracy and operational performance in this current position.
In this role, you will serve as the primary finance partner, collaborating closely with Operations, Production, and senior leadership. You'll oversee month-end activities, prepare financial reports, and conduct variance analyses to drive improvements.
Your contributions will directly impact strategic decision-making and support continuous growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support month-end close activities focused on inventory and costs
Prepare journal entries and financial reporting schedules
Monitor and reconcile inventory and manufacturing transactions
Analyze variances for materials, labor, and overhead
Develop financial models for pricing and capital investment decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience
Expertise in cost accounting and financial reporting
Advanced ERP and Microsoft Excel skills
CPA designation or in progress is a plus
