In this position, you will consult with families needing breastfeeding assistance both in and out of the hospital. You will also lead the efforts to retain Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative status through your expertise and coaching. Candidates must possess a solid background in maternal-infant nursing and a dedication to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
Consult and develop feeding plans for families
Assess and follow up with neonates at risk for jaundice
Drive initiatives for maintaining Breastfeeding Friendly Initiative status
Educate and support staff in breastfeeding practices
Maintain a focus on family-centered care

Requirements:
Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
NRP Certification and BCLS required
Minimum three years in Mother Baby Unit
Experience in consulting and pediatric nursing preferred
Commitment to maintaining patient relationships
