Your exciting opportunity to become an LPN of a Acute Medicine Unit at Chinook Regional Hospital. The candidate for 4B is one who has strong interest in acute medicine. We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our unit that truly believes in patient and family centered care as well as working on a unit that strives to be supportive, caring and fun. 4B is a 32-bed medical unit specializing in the care of acute medicine patients.
A candidate who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient and family focused nursing care is required, working to full scope of practice with critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures and supported with the education required for the role. Current grads are welcome to apply.
Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies,
and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.

Required Qualifications
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
