As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications: Basic computer literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong Family Centered Care philosophy. Ability to be physically confined to an area due to job demands. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information and health records. Ability to adhere to nursing policy and practice standards. Ability to identify own strengths and weaknesses and showing initiative for improvement. Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others and accept change. Ability and availability to pick up a combination of days, evenings, nights, weekends and short-call shifts.
