Duties

- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep trucks in optimal condition.
- Ensure freight is secured properly for transit, preventing damage during transportation.

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially in long-haul routes.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
