CAMH’s Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) is seeking a full time contract (12 months) Research Analyst to assist with a study focused on transgender and gender-diverse youth mental health. The Research Analyst will contribute to a range of research activities across multiple studies, including participant recruitment and data collection; obtaining and maintaining informed consent; administering study questionnaires and interviews; qualitative and quantitative data analysis; and supporting knowledge translation activities. Knowledge translation responsibilities may include developing materials to communicate research findings, such as policy briefs, research reports, infographics, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications.
The Research Analyst will also support administrative activities related to youth engagement and ensure that research activities are conducted in accordance with approved study protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of the unique health, social, and structural inequities affecting transgender and gender-diverse individuals, and 2SLGBTQ+ populations more broadly, and will contribute to research that is community-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in principles of equity.
The successful candidate will work independently while contributing as a member of a multidisciplinary research team and will liaise with community health and housing organizations across Ontario. The Research Analyst will report to a Senior Scientist. This position is located at 250 College Street, Toronto, Ontario.
