Job Responsibilities

Provide full cycle accounting and bookkeeping support, including A/P and A/R processing, data entry, general accounting, and financial statement preparation

Set up new projects, track time and expenses in collaboration with other team members, and issue invoices promptly. Follow-up with clients on overdue accounts.

Calculate and remit PST/GST and all other reporting requirements and related filings.

Administer payroll for employees.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting,



including reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards

Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports and financial statements.

Candidate Requirements

A related Degree/Diploma in finance/accounting is preferred. A CPA designation, or working towards one, is an asset.

5+ years of full cycle accounting/bookkeeping experience with proficiency in accounting software programs, i.e. QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook.

Motivated financial professional with robust integrity and dependability. Comfortable working as the sole accountant and with colleagues in professional team environment.
