We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, who is committed to evidence-based practice and patient centered care for this supervisor role.Supported by the manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for:Providing leadership and direction for operations and human resourcesDay to day planning and coordination of resources to support departmental operationsHiring, coaching, mentoring, evaluating and managing the performance and development of front line staff including progressive disciplineCollaborative planning, implementing and evaluating of patient safety,



quality improvement and risk management activities with patients and other health care professionals to facilitate changeProject-related work related to create efficiencies and evolution of service delivery models and include collaboration with multiple stakeholders (Diagnostic Imaging; Laboratory Medicine, Anesthesia, Surgery, Neurology, etc).Primarily supporting clinic activity at the Credit Valley Hospital site, travel between THP hospital sites will be requiredQualificationsBaccalaureate degree required BScNRegistered Nurse with current Certificate of Competence from the appropriate CollegeCON (C) certification preferred2 years supervisory or leadership experience recommended3-5 years oncology experience is requiredStrong leadership, organizational, communication and problem solving skillsAbility to be flexible and adapt to the challenge of a busy environment with competing prioritiesDemonstrated commitment to learning and continuous quality improvementAbility to follow through on key initiatives and meet targeted deadlines and deliverablesSatisfactory performance and attendance requiredProficiency in the use of hospital computerized/electronic system EPIC requiredDemonstrated ability to be detail and quality oriented as well as a high degree of initiative and self-directionAbility to provide leadership to projects, accomplish goals, evaluate outcomes, and adjust as necessaryAbility to influence change, taking into account climate and cultureProven ability to provide leadership and set strategic direction, articulate and work towards a vision and oversee the implementation of plans and strategies to deliver efficient,
