The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of concrete projects, from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in construction project management, particularly in the field of concrete construction. They should possess excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to effectively coordinate resources, ensure project success, and deliver high-quality results.Reporting to the VP, ConcreteResponsibilities:Project Planning and Execution:Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and deliverablesCoordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives and requirementsEnsure projects are executed according to plans and within budgetary and time constraintsMonitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as neededResource Management:Identify and allocate resources required for concrete projects, including labor, equipment, and materialsCollaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely availability of resourcesManage resource utilization and optimize efficiency throughout the project lifecycleBudgeting and Cost Control:Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costsConduct regular cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures where possibleReview and approve project-related invoices, change orders,
and contractsQuality Assurance and Compliance:Establish and enforce quality standards for concrete construction projectsEnsure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry best practicesConduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to specificationsRisk Management:Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate themImplement risk assessment and mitigation plans to minimize project disruptionsMaintain contingency plans and respond promptly to unforeseen events or issuesCommunication and Stakeholder Management:Maintain regular communication with project team members, clients, and other stakeholdersFacilitate effective collaboration and coordination between different project stakeholdersProvide timely updates, address concerns, and manage expectationsHealth and Safety:Promote and enforce a culture of safety on the construction siteEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocolsConduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures as necessaryDocumentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and reportsPrepare progress reports, project summaries, and other required documentationEnsure proper record-keeping for future reference and project evaluationRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management,
