Job Summary

Duties
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures at the front desk
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using electronic scheduling with Healthquest
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, booking, and following up on patients' requests.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories and updating personal information with clarity and professionalism
- Support clinical staff by preparing exam rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing supply inventories
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and processing payments with precision
- Manage correspondence,
including emails and appointment reminders, ensuring timely communication with patients
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area that reflects a professional healthcare environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Assistant in a healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate with patients and staff
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems especially healthquest
- Familiarity with office equipment including multi-line phone systems, printers, and scanners, computers and BP monitors, weight scales and autoclave
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
- Exceptional customer service skills to create positive patient interactions
- Ability to follow detailed protocols for confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Prior experience in a family medicine setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided for specific roles in our clinic

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
