Reporting to the HUB OW, LDM, ODSP Department Manager, the incumbent will enhance employment opportunities for band members through effective training initiatives. Key responsibilities include preparing work plans, organizing skill development programs, and providing career counseling. You will collaborate with clients and community members to promote Anishnabek culture throughout all implemented programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop annual workplans for strategic implementation
• Organize and schedule training initiatives for members




• Provide information on available programs and services
• Negotiate course purchases and training incentives
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client records
Requirements:
• University Degree in Business or related field
• 2 years experience in training or employment support
• Knowledge of First Nation needs and Anishnabek culture
• Proficiency in MS Office and database management
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
