With your CPA designation and a minimum of 2-4 years of public accounting experience, you will handle financial reporting and assure compliance with standards. Engage with clients while mentoring junior staff and driving business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements
- Guide clients through government reporting requirements
- Ensure evidence is adequate for audits and expenses
- Organize records for audit readiness and best practices
- Investigate financial discrepancies and make corrections Requirements:
- CPA designation required, with 2-4 years experience
- Knowledge of First Nations communities is a plus
- Deep understanding of GAAP and Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Proficient with accounting and tax software
